Getting That Sign Face to Slide Into The End Of The Retainer
Always have a piece of duct tape with you!.
Go to the end of the cabinet where the sign face is banging up against the retainer. Apply two 8" separate strips of duct tape, stick down the first few inches of tape, fold it back on itself (to provide you with a handle) and stick down the remainder. Do this with both strips of tape to provide you with more purchase. Use these "handles" to ease the sign face into the channel of the retainer.Once inserted, simply remove tape. This saved me on a couple of occasions when another pair of hands was not available.
