Roland DGA Earns 2004 USSC Service Award
IRVINE, CA - Roland DGA Corporation has earned the United States Sign Council’s (USSC) Distinguished Service Award for 2004. Dave Goward, Roland DGA senior vice president and general manager, recently accepted the award at Sign World USA in Atlantic City, NJ.
“The United States Sign Council works tirelessly to represent the interests of over 30,000 sign makers,” said Goward. “It’s our pleasure to support USSC members, which include many of our own customers, in any way we can. Our support of the USSC is a great way for us to give something back to the sign industry.”
“Over its years of membership, Roland has exhibited a sincere commitment to helping the USSC fulfill its mission,” said Andrew Bertucci, USSC executive director. “This year, Roland provided a completely new full-color directional sign system for Sign World USA. Roland has always gone above and beyond the call of duty.”
The USSC Distinguished Service Award is presented annually to honor a product manufacturer or product distributor that shows extraordinary support for the work of the USSC. “The award recognizes the unsung heroes of the sign industry,” said Bertucci. “The USSC recognizes that without their support it would be difficult to provide the many member services that we offer to sign companies.”

In fulfilling its educational mandate, the USSC conducts seminars and training workshops through its program of continuing education seminars, trade shows, and exhibits of new sign technology.
