SPTF Recognizes Its 2004 Supporters
MINNEAPOLIS - Honoring individuals and companies whose efforts and support have enabled it to advance the industry, the Screen Printing Technical Foundation (SPTF) presented awards, plaques and certificates to its supporters at SGIA ‘04, the 56th Annual Convention & Exposition of its affiliate, the Specialty Graphic Imaging Association (SGIA), held here October 6-9 at the Minneapolis Convention Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA.
Outstanding Service Awards went to Rutland Plastic Technologies, Inc. (Pineville, NC); HIX Corporation (Pittsburg, KS); Shur-Loc Fabric Systems dba JSMD Key Products LLC (Snohomish, WA); Sans Screenprint (Manassas, VA); Newman Roller Frames by Stretch Devices (Philadelphia, PA); M&R Sales & Services Inc. (Glen Ellyn IL), Quality Engineering Associates, Inc. (Burlington, MA); Timsco, Inc. (Temple Hills, MD); and Sprayway (Addison, IL).
Distinguished Service Awards were presented by the Foundation to: U.S. Screen Printing Institute (Tempe, AZ); Hanes Printables (Winston-Salem, NC); Union Ink Company (Ridgefield, NJ); Monster Graphics (San Diego, CA); and Mind’s Eye Graphics (Decatur, IN).
For their contributions of equipment or supplies, Equipment Donation Recognition certificates were presented to Black Body/BBC Industries, Inc. (Fenton, MO); Freehand Graphics, Inc. (Shoreham, NY); and X-Rite Incorporated (Grandville, MI).
For donating supplies, services and/or materials for use in the Foundation's activities, SPTF Certificates of Appreciation were presented to Fabrication Concepts Corp. (Santa Ana, CA), Hanes Printables (Winston-Salem, NC), Murakami
Screen USA, Inc. (Monterey Park, CA), KIWO, Inc. (Seabrook, TX), SaatiPrint USA (Somers, NY), Nazdar (Shawnee, KS), Sefar America, Inc. (Lumberton, NJ), DYNAMESH, Inc. (West Chicago, IL), ReyHan PGF (Kansas City, MO), and Ulano Corporation (Brooklyn, NY).
SPTF also provided Certificates of Merit to Albatross USA Inc. (Long Island City, NY), Elmer’s Products, Inc. (Columbus, OH), Autotype Americas, Inc. (Schaumburg, IL), Intercontinental Chemical Corporation (Cincinnati, OH), Sericol Inc. (Kansas City, KS), SolarActive International (Tarzana, CA), Union Ink Company (Ridgefield, NJ), U.S. Screen Printing Institute (Tempe, AZ), and Spartanics (Rolling Meadows, IL) for their support of the Foundation’s activities.
Recognizing their vital contributions to SPTF workshops, Speaker Recognition certificates were presented to Beth Buege (Sefar America, Inc.; Lumberton, NJ), David Dennings (KIWO, Inc.; Seabrook, TX), Paul Drago (Ulano Corporation; Brooklyn, NY), Chris Goellner (Reyhan PGF; Eagan, MN), Russ Wierer (Sefar America, Inc.; Lumberton, NJ), Charlie Taublieb (Taublieb Consulting; Englewood, CO), Mike Ruff (ReyHan PGF; Kansas City, MO), and Bron Wolff (Serigraph, Inc.; West Bend, WI).
